Film Club Special Event - A Room And A Half - Free and discount tickets

29 June 2010

Room And A Half is one of the best films we've seen this year and we are delighted to be able to let you know about this special screening. The film is about the life of the famous poet Joseph Brodsky and screens at 7.15 at the Empire Leicester Square. Preceding this at 6.30 is a conversation on the Nobel prize Joseph Brodsky’s life and poems with film historian Ian Christie and Dr Elaine Feinstein, followed by poetry reading from the winners of the Poetry Competition in association with Angliya Newspaper, and hosted by Poet in the City. Doors open at 6pm. Don't forget there'll be the usual film club drinks and chat afterwards. Tickets are £12 (discounted from £15) and can be bought from the box office in advance or on the day. We also have a limited number of free tickets to give away to you! Please email filmclub@nonmultiplexcinema.com with your details and you'll be put into the lottery. Winners will be notified the day before. All the details on the event can be found here http://www.empirecinemas.co.uk/index.php?page=synopsis&filmid=2146
