Cannes in the City – Wednesday 29 April, Karma Sanctum Soho, London

Non-Multiplex Cinema presents “Cannes in the City”; network with others in the film and media industry, experience the festival in London.

Hi,

Cannes is just around the corner, whether you’re heading to the festival or simply want to connect with others in the industry before the season kicks off, this one’s for you.

Cannes in the City
Wednesday 29 April | 6:15 pm
Karma Sanctum Soho, London

An evening of drinks and networking for anyone working in film; directors, producers, actors, crew, writers, distributors, sales agents, and anyone else who makes this industry tick. A chance to make new connections and catch up with familiar faces in a relaxed Soho setting before the festival season gets underway.

During the evening there’ll be a short presentation and live demo of Fabstir v2 — a new approach to film distribution that’s been generating interest from US distributors at Cannes. If distribution and the business side of film is your thing, you’ll want to stay for that. If not, plenty of networking to be done.

Schedule:
6:15 pm — Drinks and networking
7:15 pm — Presentation and live demo (30 mins + Q&A)
8:00 pm — More networking, more drinks

Free to attend. Register here:

About Julian Bushell

Founder of Non-Multiplex Cinema and creator of FILM MEANS BUSINESS. Now starting a new way to make film called "Blur the line". It takes the workshop environment of experimentation and learning and marries that with cinema quality equipment, filming at actual locations when possible. The end result is a scene the same as or as close as possible to the quality of a real production.
