Call for entries to the Oscar-qualifying 20th Raindance Film Festival!
Raindance is Europe’s largest independent film festival, screening 150 shorts, 20 documentaries and 80 feature films. The 20th Raindance Film Festival will be held in central London between 26 September – 7 October 2012.
Raindance awards 3 prizes for Short Films during the Festival:
Best International Short / Best UK Short / Film of the Festival* (*The winner is offered the chance to film next year’s Raindance Film Festival trailer)
They now are an Academy Award qualifying festival for Shorts!
Recipients of Raindance’s ‘Film of the Festival’ prize will qualify for consideration in the Short Films category of the Annual Academy Awards® without the requirement of the standard theatrical run.
