Completed a short film or animation last year? Want to get it screened at a leading UK festival and gain all-important industry exposure?<\/p>\n

There\u2019s just one week left to submit to the Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival’s early deadline – all 2012 productions must be entered by 29 March 2013.<\/p>\n

A gateway to the world\u2019s major short film and animation awards (Academy Awards\u00ae, BAFTA, European Film Awards, Cartoon d\u2019Or), Encounters is one of the best-known international competitive showcases of its kind for emerging talent and is renowned for its networking opportunities. Encounters returns to Bristol harbourside from 17-22 September 2013.<\/p>\n

The festival offers a reduced fee for multiple submissions. Whether your film is selected or not, it will be made available in our Digital Viewing Library for festival delegates.<\/p>\n

Worries about UK premiere policies holding you back?
They’re delighted to announce that the BFI London Film Festival has changed its regulations and no longer requires a national premiere for shorts (now London premiere only). This means that you can now screen at both Encounters and LFF!
